Pando is an extraordinary expanse of aspen forest in Utah: a single aspen clone that’s been alive for thousands of years, and comprises more than 80,000 stems. In 2019 we visited Pando with Nick Mustoe, who was lead forester at the time … fast forward to 2022 and we’re delighted to be sharing poetry and images with the Friends of Pando. We’ll be coming in to the celebration event via video link, to share our fascination with Pando and the connection between that ancient tree, and the ancient trees we love and have worked with here in the UK.
