We’re delighted to be taking part in the International Outdoor Education and Research Conference this year, and being joined by researchers from around the world as we lead a walk into the inbye fields, the intakes and common land. We’ll be looking at how values and expectations are laid onto land, where the blindspots are in considering who and what dwells in and shapes landscapes, and how walking with can meeting people in situ (rather than inside lecture rooms) can offer new insights and seeds for further dialogues. Most of all, this will an opportunity for everyone present to share their own questions, knowledges, perspectives: and here from local farmer and commoner Will Benson.
